Overcoming the Gender Divide in Business

In this podcast episode of "Are We Here Yet?", the host Scott Graves explores the topic of the gender divide in business with his guest Kiki McShane, Farvision CEO & Founder of Evolve Rutland. Evolve Rutland is an organization created by Kiki McShane, Chris Fucci, and William Kelley that focuses on prioritizing, developing, and celebrating all leaders in the Rutland community.

Evolve Rutland believes that empowering women leaders and encouraging entrepreneurial opportunity for people of all genders is key to a healthy and successful community. In episode 121 of ‘Are We Here Yet?’, Kiki McShane and podcast host Scott Graves talk about how Evolve Rutland came to be and discuss how its work within the community can help to erode the longstanding lack of diversity in the Rutland and greater Vermont business sector.

Evolve Rutland is founded to recognize exceptional business leadership across the gender spectrum.  The organization was formed when women and men in the Rutland (VT) regional business community saw a need to recognize women leaders while also encouraging more female entrepreneurship, business ownership and C Suite positions.

Evolve Rutland’s efforts to include all people in this work is key to continued momentum building here.  We place a spotlight on our interest to ensure that all stakeholders are brought to the table.  Only when everyone is part of the conversation can resulting solutions be a new path forward forged to benefit all genders who are represented in the Rutland region’s business community.
